Couple Taking Engagement Photos Encounters Black Metal Band In The Woods

John Awesome and Nydia Hernandez had been having an engagement photoshoot with photographer Janet Wheeland in Holy Jim Canyon, California once they stumbled into a wholly totally different type of shoot. Black metallic band Coldvoid occurred to be in the identical woods taking pictures promo photographs below the complete moon, and the 2 teams determined to hitch forces.

“During the last part of the session, we noticed a few guys with some corpse paint makeup on sitting at a nearby bench blaring out some black metal music,” Awesome advised ABC News. “We just randomly thought it would be a funny idea if we could get them to be a part of our engagement shoot. So we approached them and asked and they more than happy to accept! Super nice people. I seriously can’t make this stuff up.”

Coldvoid had been simply as shocked. “It was a completely random encounter,” frontman Dysmal tells BuzzFeed. “We were there taking photos for our band and our drummer Zack’s girlfriend took our photos. The couple approached us with their photographer and we chatted for a bit, and then they asked to take a photo and we were happy to do it.”

Apparently Awesome was in a metallic band — how might he not have been, with that title? And after ending up the engagement photoshoot, Wheeland even did a bit of mini-shoot with the band. “They gave us a copy of their new demo and it was the perfect eerie soundtrack for the drive out of the woods,” she says. “It was a perfect, spontaneous finale to our photo shoot. We couldn’t have planned it better.”
